Reading at Sherman’s Books in Portland, Maine
Join me for an informal event on Saturday June 25th from 1-3 at Sherman’s Books at 45 Exchange Street in Portland, Maine. The event is co-sponsored by the Maine Women Writers Collection at UNE. I’ll do a short reading from Azalea, Unschooled and then I’ll be hanging around to sign books and talk. Refreshments will be served and children are welcome! What a terrific event AuthorFest 2016 was! Thanks to everyone who came by–and there were a lot of you! It was great to see so many fellow children’s book authors, some from right here in Portland and others from farther afield. I finally got to meet local (to Portland) author Gail Donovan, whose books and launch events my daughter and I have been enjoying for years. After the event, the authors were invited to a luncheon.
